The younger Nembhard is a 5’11” floor general out of Gonzaga, and he’s typically a 2nd round pick in most mock drafts. USA Today’s For The Win has Ryan joining his brother Andrew on the Pacers, with the 53rd pick. Sports Illustrated has Ryan going at No. 51, to the L.A. Clippers. ESPN has him going at No. 58, to the Cleveland Cavaliers. With great court vision, Nembhard averaged 9.8 assists a game at Gonzaga last year. He’s received NBA comps like TJ McConnell and Tyus Jones, as undersized guards who carved out a role in the NBA. How appropriate would it be for Nembhard to be mentored by McConnell himself?
