Indiana Pacers Announce Tyrese Haliburton Statue to Be Unveiled Outside Gainbridge Fieldhouse, Honoring Franchise Star’s Loyalty, Leadership, and Impact on and off the Court…..

The Indiana Pacers today confirmed plans to unveil a bronze statue of franchise star Tyrese Haliburton outside Gainbridge Fieldhouse, set to take place prior to the start of the 2025–26 season. The monument will honor Haliburton’s extraordinary loyalty, leadership, and transformative impact both on and off the court.

Haliburton, 25, was acquired in a February 2022 trade from Sacramento—a move that Pacers president of basketball operations Kevin Pritchard had boldly compared to landing Peyton Manning or Andrew Luck . Since then, Haliburton has quickly emerged as the face of the franchise, earning two consecutive All-Star selections and All-NBA Third Team honors. This season, he led Indiana to its first NBA Finals appearance in 25 years, orchestrating a slew of late-game heroics and galvanizing fans across the state .

Although the Pacers fell short in a hard-fought Finals showdown with Oklahoma City, falling 103–91 in Game 7 after Haliburton suffered a devastating torn Achilles injury , his influence remains indelible. Inside the locker room and beyond, teammates describe him as a beacon of resilience and composure in pressure-packed moments—and an inspiration to the next generation of Hoosier athletes .

Beyond basketball, Haliburton’s commitment to Indiana extends to meaningful community initiatives in Indianapolis. His work includes youth basketball camps, mental health advocacy, and active participation in Pacers-led outreach programs—a continuation of the franchise’s legacy of service rooted in Gainbridge Fieldhouse .

When asked about the upcoming dedication, Haliburton said, “This city, this team—I give everything for it. To be honored with a statue here is beyond humbling. I’m excited to keep building with this community.” The Pacers organization echoed that his statue represents not just his statistical achievements but his embodiment of character, integrity, and Hoosier pride.

With groundbreaking scheduled for late summer, the bronze tribute will stand alongside other Indianapolis icons at the Fieldhouse plaza—cementing Tyrese Haliburton’s legacy for years to come.
