Rodgers’ contribution is one of the largest single-athlete donations to homelessness in U.S. history. According to reports, the funds will be used to rapidly develop modular housing and to renovate unused city properties into transitional shelters. The first 75 housing units are scheduled for completion by early 2026, with the rest expected by late 2026. Rodgers, who has been active in philanthropy throughout his career, said he intends to remain personally involved in the project’s progress.
