Each of the five luxury buses is customized with burnt orange flair, sleek interiors, and the signature Longhorn logo. “These buses are a symbol,” McConaughey said during a press event at Darrell K Royal–Texas Memorial Stadium. “They represent the journey we’re all on together — students, athletes, fans, and alumni — to create a legacy that lasts beyond the wins and trophies. Let’s ride together, not just to games, but into the future of what Texas can be.”
The donation was made through the actor’s Just Keep Livin Foundation, in collaboration with UT Athletics. Officials confirmed that the buses will be used to transport teams across the state and beyond for games, camps, and community service initiatives. The gesture comes as Texas continues to experience record-setting achievements across multiple sports, including its softball and football programs.
