OU Softball Recruiting Keeps Rolling as Sooners Add Top 2025 Prospect Lexi McDaniel
The Oklahoma Sooners softball dynasty continues to flex its recruiting muscles, securing yet another elite talent in the 2025 class. On Thursday, standout shortstop Lexi McDaniel, widely regarded as one of the top prospects in the nation, announced her commitment to the Sooners, adding more firepower to a program that shows no signs of slowing down.
McDaniel, a five-tool athlete out of Texas, has drawn national attention for her combination of elite defense, explosive speed, and power at the plate.
