During an episode of his Wrighty’s House podcast, Arsenal legend Ian Wright shared his admiration for Jadon Sancho, emphasizing the player’s recent performances. Wright remarked, “I have to give credit to Jadon Sancho. He played exceptionally well [against Tottenham], truly impressive.”
He continued, reflecting on Sancho’s post-match comments: “He mentioned proving people wrong and feeling welcomed, which suggests he didn’t experience that sense of belonging at his previous club, Manchester United. Otherwise, why would he say such a thing? It seems he didn’t feel valued or supported there, nor did he have the platform to showcase his abilities fully.”
Wright also noted, “Even when he was at Dortmund last season, he was determined to prove his doubters wrong.”
