Bayern Munich’s search for a player for the left wing is finally over with the signing of Luis Díaz, who is clearly planned to take that position. However, the Colombian international may not be limited to that position.

Díaz himself discusses which positions he can play: “I can play on the wing and upfront. The coach said he prefers me on the left, but I’ll play wherever I’m needed,” Díaz mused, as. captured by @iMiaSanMia. “I want to help the team; that’s my priority.”

Meanwhile, board member for sport Max Eberl hints Díaz could also be used in a more central role, as captured by @iMiaSanMia: “It’s important to be flexible, to be able to switch things around during the game. With Lucho [Díaz] and Michael Olise, we have players who can play both on the wing and centrally. But he’s mainly planned for the wing.”

What exactly the club and the coaching staff have planned for the former Liverpool FC player will only be confirmed once the new season truly starts.
