OKLAHOMA CITY — The Texas Longhorns, led by electrifying third baseman Mia Scott, are locked in and laser-focused as they prepare for high-stakes matchups at the Women’s College World Series (WCWS). Ranked No. 1 in the nation, the Longhorns are eyeing a national title after an explosive season that saw them dominate both offensively and defensively.

 

Scott, a key leader on and off the field, has been instrumental in Texas’ success. Known for her blazing speed, elite defense, and timely hitting, the junior standout has helped power the Longhorns to their ninth straight WCWS appearance—a historic feat unmatched in the NCAA.
