ESNP REPORT:4-star Ohio State wide receiver details why he flipped from TCU to the Buckeyes

4-Star WR Mylan Graham Details Flip from TCU to Ohio State

In a move that sent ripples through the college football recruiting landscape, 4-star wide receiver Mylan Graham officially flipped his commitment from TCU to Ohio State, citing a combination of tradition, coaching, and long-term vision as key reasons behind his decision.

Graham, a 6-foot-1, 185-pound standout from New Haven, Indiana, initially pledged to TCU in late 2024. However, after a late push from the Buckeyes and a recent visit to Columbus, the talented receiver had a change of heart.

“Ohio State has always been a dream school for me,” Graham said. “The culture, the coaching staff, and the way they develop wide receivers — it just felt like the right place for me.”

Ohio State wide receivers coach Brian Hartline played a central role in Graham’s flip. Known for producing NFL-caliber talent, Hartline emphasized how Graham’s speed and route-running ability fit into Ohio State’s offensive system. The Buckeyes’ recent history of wide receiver success — including first-rounders like Garrett Wilson, Chris Olave, and Marvin Harrison Jr. — helped seal the deal.

Graham also noted the academic support and life-after-football resources available in Columbus. “They really care about you as a person, not just as a player,” he said. “That stood out to me and my family.”

The Buckeyes now add another explosive weapon to their 2025 class, which is shaping up to be among the nation’s best. Graham, ranked among the top 20 receivers in the nation by 247Sports, brings elite speed and agility, making him a potential game-changer at the next level.

For TCU, the loss stings but highlights the competitive nature of national recruiting battles. Graham thanked the Horned Frogs for their belief in him but reiterated that his heart was ultimately in Columbus.

“Nothing but respect for TCU, but I know this is the right move for my future,” Graham said.

Ohio State fans will be watching closely as Graham prepares to bring his talents to the Big Ten stage.
