The Gator Great Returns: Tim Tebow Joins Florida as Associate Coach!
Gainesville, FL – The legend has come home. Tim Tebow, the two-time national champion, 2007 Heisman Trophy winner, and one of the most iconic figures in college football history, is officially returning to the University of Florida. This time, it’s not as a player—but as an associate coach for the Florida Gators football program.
The University of Florida made the announcement Saturday, confirming that Tebow will join head coach Billy Napier’s staff ahead of the 2025 season. In his new role, Tebow will focus on player development, leadership training, and mentorship, bringing his trademark passion, faith, and football IQ back to Gainesville.
Tebow expressed his excitement in a statement: “This place has always meant so much to me. The University of Florida shaped me into the man I am today.
