KNOXVILLE: Elite Twin Basketball Stars Mia and Mya Pauldo Turn Down Ole Miss and Atlanta Dream to Commit to Tennessee Lady Vols

In a significant development for the Tennessee Lady Volunteers, identical twin basketball phenoms Mia and Mya Pauldo have committed to the University of Tennessee, turning down offers from Ole Miss and the WNBA’s Atlanta Dream.

Hailing from Morris Catholic High School in Denville, New Jersey, the Pauldo twins have been standout performers throughout their high school careers. Mia, a five-star recruit, is ranked No. 11 in the 2025 espnW 100, while Mya, a four-star recruit, holds the No. 56 spot. Their commitment marks the first time the Lady Vols have secured a pair of twins, adding a unique dynamic to the team’s roster.

The twins have consistently emphasized their desire to play together at the collegiate level. “We want to do everything together,” Mia stated. “Our journey will always be together.” Their decision to join the Lady Vols was influenced by the program’s rich history, competitive environment, and the opportunity to further develop their personal brand.

Off the court, Mia and Mya have made significant strides in building their brand. At just 15 years old, they signed a three-year NIL deal with Puma, becoming some of the youngest athletes to secure such an agreement. They also star in their own Overtime-produced reality series, “No Limits with Mia & Mya Pauldo,” and have amassed a substantial following on social media.

Their commitment is a testament to the efforts of Tennessee’s first-year head coach, Kim Caldwell, who has been proactive in recruiting top talent to the program. The 2025 recruiting class, which includes the Pauldo twins, is ranked No. 1 by 247Sports and No. 2 by ESPN and World Exposure Report.

The Pauldo twins’ addition to the Lady Vols is expected to bring a new level of excitement and competitiveness to the team. Their unique bond, combined with their individual talents, positions them as key contributors to the program’s future success.

As they prepare to transition to collegiate basketball, Mia and Mya remain focused on their shared goals and the impact they hope to make both on and off the court. Their journey with the Tennessee Lady Vols is poised to be a compelling chapter in the program’s storied history.
