Bulldogs Confirm Team List to Face Roosters in Round 11 Clash

The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs have officially confirmed their team list ahead of their highly anticipated Round 11 clash against the Sydney Roosters, scheduled for Thursday, May 16, at 8:00pm (AEST) at Accor Stadium. The announcement comes as the Bulldogs look to build momentum after a mixed start to the 2025 NRL season.

Head coach Cameron Ciraldo has named a relatively stable lineup with only minor changes from last week’s squad that secured a gritty win over the Wests Tigers. The Bulldogs will aim to carry that confidence into this challenging fixture against a Roosters side that remains among the competition heavyweights.

Skipper Stephen Crichton continues to lead from the centres, while playmakers Matt Burton and Toby Sexton retain their roles in the halves, showing encouraging signs of chemistry in recent rounds. Forward leader Viliame Kikau brings punch to the left edge, while the likes of Preston and King continue to provide stability up front.

One notable inclusion is Josh Addo-Carr, who returns to the wing after a short injury layoff. His speed and experience will be crucial against the Roosters’ potent backline. Reed Mahoney remains the linchpin at hooker, setting the tempo through the middle.

Bailey Hayward holds his spot on the bench after a solid showing last week, while Ryan Sutton returns to the 17 after recovering from a minor knock.

The Bulldogs currently sit mid-table, but a strong showing against the Roosters could see them climb into the top eight. Meanwhile, the Roosters, led by James Tedesco and Joseph Manu, are in form and looking to extend their winning streak.

Coach Ciraldo noted, “This is another big test for us. The Roosters are a quality side with threats across the park. We need to be sharp in both defence and attack.”

Kick-off is at 8:00pm AEST at Accor Stadium. Fans are urged to get behind the Bulldogs

as they hunt for a key victory in the heart of the 2025 NRL campaign.
